This simple tutorial will help you make money with Opentape as well as enable you to add social features (lyrics, videos, and events).

Download: Moneytape Latest Release (.zip)

Step 1

- Install the Latest Release of Opentape (0.1)

- If Opentape is already installed proceed to Step 2

Step 2

- Download the Latest Release of Moneytape (0.1)

- Unzip the archive and open the mixtape.php file. Replace the values in red at the top of the file with your own Affiliate values.

- Save the mixtape.php file.

- upload the new mixtape.php & settings.php files to:

yourdomain.com/opentape/code/

Step 3

You are done! Log into your Opentape Admin Panel and navigate to the settings page to activate/deactivate money-making & social features.

Just another example of Web Douchebaggery. Brandon Fulk, a mutual friend of Jason Calacanis thinks he’s a/n [expletive]. Where did all this hate towards Jason come from? Was it when he ditched his blog and took the almost archaic email list approach to content distribution? — No, that can’t be it. — What a smart move that was by the way. Jason has successfully added value to his content by locking it away through an email list making it seem somewhat unattainable. If it’s “unattainable” … in our minds, it has to be had or acquired.

The Unattainable Model can be best understood when we look at the release of a new Beta. Do you really think that Betas want to limit the use of their new app? No, they only do that so you’ll want it more. It causes speculation as to what the product actually does. More speculation (buzz) = more exposure. Surely you’ve heard of Pheltup.
